The latest interview with Jason Hill indicates that there will be less functionality on the yoke buttons than was previously announced. Sounds like the left button will be volume up/down, and the right one will be the horn.
I think that there will be an active after-market for Aptera hard-switches. Some smart person will figure out how to make physical switches interface with the Aptera, and start selling 3D printed units for us to mount.

Agreed! This was an excellent interview that put some unique perspective into the history of Aptera. Worth your time.

I haven’t seen any discussion about if there will be any kind of companion smart phone application available. This (non-Aptera) guy has come up with some ideas that I think are pretty decent. I’d also like to see this tied into the Aptera ‘Sentry Mode’ if they end up having the equivalent. https://youtu.be/RqV8-C3BN4g\

My understanding is yes, AWD for a 3-wheeler will be better on snow/ice. Which is the reason I’m going with it. Took me a half-dozen tries last winter in my Prius getting up the hill on the unpaved snowy road that my fiancée lives at the end of. Also plan on using this to get to hiking trailheads; often those are at the end of really terrible roads.

Dennis – I’m near Folsom Lake, and would LOVE to check out your Aptera when you receive it.

Can you do a Luna Full Solar off-road?

Aptera does have torque control. From the FAQ:
How does Aptera handle in the snow and cold weather?
With all-wheel-drive and vectorized torque control, Aptera handles beautifully in the snow and ice. We are designing specifically for a lot of the cold countries that love electric vehicles. The Aptera will have a full climate control system capable down to -20 and up to 125 degrees Fahrenheit. With our sandwich core composites body offering great insulation and a nice heater, it’s very comfortable to drive in the winter.
