While while only slightly similar to the Apter, the Organic Transit ELF was an interesting and fun vehicle. According to rumors, the company borrowed more money than they could pay off. They had somewhere in the range of 1000 sales. Now the assets are up for sale. What do you think, should Organic Transit be rescued?

I was sorry to hear that Organic Transit went out of business. I own a similar vehicle, that is better for New England weather - the Better.Bike PEBL. See my avatar. We need all these transportation alternatives.
Hi, I just had service on my conventional four wheel vehicle’s “four wheel” alignment.. do you know if a three wheel vehicle like Aptera can get all three wheels aligned ? Or just the two front wheels?
I drive some primitive roads regularly, so I proactively perform the alignment every few years and it has paid off while a nice ride and tire life(wear)
Neil, are you asking about the video the screenshot was from?
If so ...it was from an video, a forum person included in somewhere in a blog. It was a tele interview with Chris with 3-4 EV enthusiast and a radio host At the end Chris pulled up that sample panel of the new Aptera body.
Best Regards!
Yes, I was hoping to see the video.
JT had the link in the forum around Dec 3 Here is one link I googled but there are a few versions I did not view them all

Looks more like the rickshaws I hired in India, Philippines , etc ..it may have a place there. Safety was not very important there, with people even riding on top of their transportation vehicles .
An E-Rickshaw may have a place in golf or seashore boardwalks, airports, other shuttle transport ...
But HEY, bikes and motorcycles are popular everywhere... and you are vulnerable in them!
Aptera‘s safety is something I will be following, on their latest forthcoming prototype !
Rumors are that there have been around thirty car-ELF collisions and no serious injuries. Apparently, the plastic shell acts as a 360 degree crumple zone. Commuting in the ELF over several months revealed that the shape generated a lot of positive attention. Only once did a driver apparently fail to notice the low speed vehicle ahead. The driver was stopped by a helpful trucker who intentionally cut them off.
Interesting...
You probably seen tbe old ” try to dent me” videos...Let’s hope the dent proof composite body of the Aptera far exceeds the norm of a similar sized conventional vehicle even though it will only be ~ 1800-2200 lbs
Above is a snapshot of Chris holding a honeycomb panel to show the substrate used in the body.
I am not sure what type of crash test they had on the old prototypes but with side opening windows, solar cells, motors in wheels etc...it is different
No one is going to see dents in the ELF that I own. It cracks very easily. So, any stress that would cause a dent will likely cause a crack.
Is that a new video, of the new Aptera? Is there a link, please?
@NeilBlanchard I thought I attached the link where this screenshot was captured? (So not a very current video and there has been more current radio interviews..)
If not, here it is:

It is unlikely, I think, that the rear wheel will need alignment, or be able to be adjusted. By definition, the single rear wheel can't be out of alignment with the other rear wheel. So, I think the Aptera will be less susceptible to being out of alignment.
I owned an ELF and even made a website to share info. It was really just a bicycle and not very solid. As you know they went out of business. The Mo by Evovelo in Spain also planned a 2 seaster side by side Mo vehicle but they failed to produce any and took our monet and ran. The Apetra is a great safe reliable design. It is much better than all the SUV Electrics like the Jaguar Ipace and Porsche Tycan among other large wasteful electrics.
Jstackeaa, Is the website still available?
