I am SO CONFIDENT that the Aptera Vehicle will be manufactured and produced that I have reserved my license plate today here in SUNNY Southwest Florida! These people have their act together. They are professional, transparent and IMHO going to blow this market wide open. Looking forward to more information about manufacturing, delivery dates and available options. Please feel free to join us for more discussion over at my facebook group "Future Aptera Owners of America".

Congrats!
Questions
So you are able to “reserve” a motorcycle plate in FL without an actual VIN?
In our state our plates, although I have to check for motorcycle registration.... we have to apply for an Alternative Fuel Licence to incentives like carpool parking, HOV fulltime use , etc...
Len,
I actually am going to be temporarily putting it on my Harley Ultra Limited until I take delivery of my Aptera. When I do, I will transfer the plate from the HD to the Aptera.
👍
@loswa Oops - no front license plate on an Aptera - motorcycles and autocycles are required to have only rear plates. 😏
In the Netherlands we do not have personal plates. :-( I can remember that people got personal plates back in 2008 for the Aptera with a picture thread.
AZ programs were as follows but I have to monitor for AZ motorcycles
and or petition for same
I think it would be a good idea for every clean vehicle on Earth to get a plate like that automatically.
Semi-related issue: In my state EVs are taxed an extra $150 "road use fee" every year to compensate the state for fuel taxes they won't be paying. This is interesting because the average ICE driver pays about $40 in fuel tax each year. Hybrid drivers must pay an annual $75 fee. I just checked with the Department of Revenue: Electric motorcycles/autocycles will have to pay an annual $75 fee.
funny how you could avoid that whole tax system by just converting a pre smog classic into full electric.
@Riley So long as the vehicle had been registered before conversion, yup - especially in my state, which has no annual inspection requirement!
