I invested in the investment round in december, and it was overfunded by 600%. Aptera wrote this in an E-mail
"Under Regulation Crowdfunding, a company can legally raise a maximum of $1.07M in a 12-month period."
I invested late in the round, and i can't figure out If I'm in, or if they will have to return my investment. Anyone knows?
Write to the wefunder site contact
Aptera will start another fundraiser approx Feb 2021
I also invested in Aptera for the first time in last december, my name appears in the investors list here https://wefunder.com/aptera/reports/2019. I'm not sure if this is an confirmation of anything. Is your name on this list mads?
Yes my name is there, but the round was overfunded at the time I invested, so I don't know if they will have to cancel it? I guess they will let ud know at some point.
I'm new to this investment in WeFunder ... do you get shares in the company ??
You get a "Simple Agreement for Future Equity".
"THIS CERTIFIES THAT in exchange for the payment by (the “Investor”) of (the “Purchase Amount”) on or about , Aptera Motors Corp, a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), hereby issues to the Investor the right to certain shares of the
Company’s capital stock, subject to the terms described below."
The "Post Money Valuation Cap" is $40,000,000
The "Discount Rate" is 100%
I invested, myself, a month or two ago. Not sure where I am on the list, or whatever. The reality is that in order for this car to be produced at all, realistically, they need BILLIONS, not a few paltry million. A few million MIGHT get them a pre-production model, but that's it. Even if they do manage to pump out a few, it'll take a year or two. Just like Arcimoto. That's the same track Aptera is following, seems like. Unfortunately. I'm hoping they get some big money interest. I honestly believe the Aptera should be the new Apple Car. Apple should - though probably won't, because they're elitist and egomaniacal and think they can do everything better, (have they EVER bought another company? I honestly don't know) - buy Aptera. Or one of these insanely stupid rich people, like Besos or Elon or Gates should pull a wad of billion-dollar bills out of their fat stack tied in a gold-plated rubber band in their pocket, and peel off a crisp new bill and stick it in the CEO's shirt pocket and say, "Maybe this will help". Pat. Big smile. Jog over to their jet and take off for lunch in the Maldives...
“...(have they EVER bought another company? I honestly don't know)”
Apple has bought quite a few companies. Sometimes to get their technology, sometimes as a way to get their talent. (the latter may only be a rumor.)
We don’t know all the companies they have bought, because they don’t disclose all of them. However a fairly extensive list of the ones we know about can be found here:

What is the minimum investment amount to get into the crowdfunding round coming up in February?
Nothing's been announced about the next one. The last 2 rounds the minimum was $100. Higher amounts ($500? $1000?) included perks such as early ordering or a discount on the Aptera.
Thanks, that really helps. I hope to invest about 2-3K.
How do I find out when and where, etc...? I signed up at Wefunder but don’t think I got an email re last funding round
You are signed up for updates on www.aptera.us so you will get the notice which will bring you to the refreshed www.wefunder.com/aptera
No notice. Missed yesterday’s funding round. What gives?
I also did not receive any notification from Aptera or Wefunder ??
I checked the wefunder website and it looks like the same round from last year. or am I missing something.
I don't see any indication of a new round either.
By the way, is anyone else still seeing the Wefunder investment from 2020 marked as "funded" not "confirmed"?
Following. Put me in the confused group as well. I have money set aside for the day they open the next investment round. I was wondering how the hell I had missed it after I had checked Aptera.us and Wefunder.com as recently as last night.
Very Very Very Disappointed. Once again - Retail investors miss out.
I don't think there is reason to panic about the investment round. I invested late in the round in december, and contacted Wefunder three weeks ago to get clarity on wether they would accept my investment or not. They told me that they were in the process of finalising the December round, and that they would finish the work in about two weeks.
When i go to my Wefunder site I an listed as an investor, so i assume that they found a way to accept all investments in that round.
The announcement from yesterday is about the December round as i read it. The February is most likely being pushed back, and there are no words that it has been canceled.
