Hi Aptera, when will the version with four wheels be released?
In 2021, but when?
Will the autonomy be the same as that of the three-wheeled version?
Why not develop the three-wheeled model with more seats for passengers, the Aptera model is very different from the others is something that stands out from the usual standard line.
It would be very innovative both as a line and with autonomy, truly excellent.
Too bad we can't drive it right away in Italy too.
Will the SEDAN version come soon with the 'Aptera' style?
They are launching with thus autocycle roadster first then move on their vision
And.... The first quarter or more later? When will it be produced? I love the Aptera model, but not ideal for just two people and I hope for the Sedan model, but with a line not similar to Tesla but cooler! With 1000 and more kilometers and more accessible and homologable prices also in Europe.
@Len How old is that timeline? We're already at the end of Q4 2020 and they've only built one prototype - so the projected production dates need to move off a few years - unless it's a timeline of when they'll release a prototype...
perhaps the utility could be a light weight camper? one with a solar panel on top that powers camping equipment as well as recharging the batteries? it has possibilities.
Everything is funding dependent😔
Timeline seems very optimistic, and is already lagging behind. I guess they deserve a bit of slack for the pandemic's impact. Just hope it's not an indication of how things will go.
Amen!
I can’t believe how much they did this year. Without bing safe ....😔it will lag/ be a mistake
Hi Len, you know I have been traveling by electric car here in Rome for 4 years with a Nissan Leaf 1 series, a very particular model with a line that is not the same as the others. I 'Electric distinguished myself' from other polluters.
I don't want to conform to the cool Tesla.
Now I have seen the Aptera and I was also super excited to face this adventure to get the car from the USA, but it is not homologable in Europe, too bad. But I cannot wait other and many years for the Sedan, I hoped production was imminent and the desire to be able to do 1600Km (1000Miglia) with a single charge 'electrifies' me.
It was also thought of creating an 'Italian' buying group.
What a pity.....
@nicoletti.fab Have you considered the Renault Zoe or Honda E? Both are small 4-door hatchbacks designed for cities and both are available in Italy at this moment.
@nicoletti.fab are you 100 % sure it is not homologable in Europe ?
@Laurent Ness In another discussion, the impossibility of homologation of L5e class vehicles is mentioned. The Aptera for its dimensions in widths and length exceeds them and therefore not validated.
I am thinking of an electric car that stands out as a line, like the Aptera can be. The Zoe is a normal car maybe the Honda, but I don't like it very much and it can cover many miles.
