I wish I could afford the 1000 mile version. Might have been able to justify it if it could do bidirectional charging and I could use it to run the house. Bummer that I missed the first 10.
Am I wrong to want more details? Like WHY are they charging extra for safety features that are included at no extra price (LKA, ACC) in other vehicles? I'm also concerned that they're referring to Level 2 autonomy as "drives itself" when, indeed, that's the goal of Level 5 autonomy. And, if "enhanced audio" is "three extra channels", how many channels are there in NON-enhanced audio? And what, exactly DOES the audio system offer? Will there be Android Auto and Apple CarPlay or will there be only built-in navigation, etc.? I think I'll wait a bit before I make a reservation - perhaps until the "customizer" provides some images/information about what's actually being offered AND what the actual specifications include.
I agree quite a lot is still unclear. If you select the paradigm, you get enhanced audio as an option. Weird to me as it's also listed as standard. Also, if you add an option, it seems you have to pay for it directly. I'm not going to order a tent for an Apera, while I'm not even sure they will be allowed on the road here.
The 100 dollar is refundable though and you can change your order after placing this reservation, so you're not really taking much of a risk to preorder now.
Depending on the answers to some of my questions later I'll likely change to a full-custom Aptera instead of a Paradigm+, since there are features I really want that aren't there, like AWD, full solar, etc. Edit: Looks like it does have full solar, only one of the pictures shows that it does.
@rhynri That's part of my concern - that they're selling a vehicle based on computer-generated images, and not very many images, at that! I'd feel better if they'd waited until they had actual photographs - even if those were of pre-production prototypes. I also want to know more about the AWD system - and if the range projections (again, computer data models) actually hold true in real-world testing. Plus, if everything comes true as promised, I'd need the 600 mile range variant - and there's no information about when or if that vehicle might appear. There's just too much up in the air at this time.
See you here soon! It will be hard to sleep tonight!
I thought we were supposed to get an email already. I keep hitting refresh, but nothing.
Yep. We are waiting!
Anyone guess the password yet?
not yet
Smile?
😁
Wohoo!!!
I guessed right after the hint to guess, thanks
Drats I'm not first!! NUMBER 33 CHECKING IN!
#58 here, 1,000 mile range, Sacramento, CA.
60 Here. Lots of questions regarding things I saw for options.
Good job, Looks like some options are included, (Enhanced Audio), looks like we'll get more info as they get closer of course.
#24, 1000 mile range. Now the long wait begins, should be exciting though.
I went through this 13 years ago, but even more excited this time around.

Me too, my browser kept locking up.
In the FAQ they specify V2G.
@rhynri Darn, I missed that.
Hurry! Got the code and got my order in!
I got number 69. That cannot be a coincidence 😎.
Nice
Nice!

What is the passcod?
If you invested in the company, you got the password in the mail this morning. If not, you'll just need to wait until 4 PM PST (7 PM EST).
@Harry Parker I'm not an investor and I received the Sales passcode...
@Kerbe Then you must be a VIP!
