Never received a refund, but the current ownership had the record and counted it towards my current order. It was only $1,000, similar to the Rivian, unlike the $10,000 that was the required deposit for the original Fisker! Excited to get this car, probably more than my first Hummer, Aston Martin or Fisker. Thanks for the info, you're a regular treasure trove of info. Can I utilize you intead of Google or Bing?
Yep there even was an unofficial Apteraforum that is still available in the wayback machine. You can also look for old video's on YouTube and old articles about the Aptera 2e.
If everything went well you received the deposit back that was in escrow back then. The company folded because the original owners were ousted from the company and detroit interest killed the idea by making it more conventional. Under the lead of Paul Wilbur things whent south. Now things look way brighter and Aptera is catching on!
Sorry to tag onto Barry’s question here but I have been unable to access the message boards directly through the forum link and have no other means of contacting Aperta directly. I’ve tried the info@aperta.us listed on the site but my messages are returned undeliverable. Anyone know how to contact corporate direct to inquire about some completely off topic from the forums ?

Thanks. I had an early reservation with a deposit 12 years ago (?). Curious why I was not contacted to buy one
