@xmtoma Although Elio Motors did a lot of legislative groundwork for 3-wheeled, enclosed vehicles, state and provincial regulations in the North America are astonishingly varied: Some states will allow ICE-powered 3-wheelers but NOT 3-wheeled EVs, some require helmets on all passengers while others require them only for passengers under age 18. There was Federal regulation proposed in 2017-18 but nothing seems to have come of it. It's going to be an interesting next few years trying to sort it all out.

@Stu Ostler That list is a depressing read... Driving cross-country in an EV takes planning to find sufficient charging opportunities - doing the same in an Aptera would seem to add the challenge of needing to know the local motor vehicle regulations and laws, as well!
