I've been experiencing quite a few problems when accessing this site via the Chrome browser: My account vanishes, my referrals won't work, my login status comes and goes, etc. These issues vanish when I switch to a different browser. I've alerted Aptera.

Interesting. I use Edge with no problems.
I switched to edge last night and still found referrals confused and impossible. I know what you're thinking and yes sometimes. I think it would be simplified. Perhaps using peoples names and order number rather than code. KISS - Keep It Simple and Smart.
@caseymccarty Aptera is relying upon an outside company to provide the referral program. When you went to my link, did you NOT get the referral pop-up in the bottom left corner of the screen?

At what point in the order process does the referral come up for affirmation?
@caseymccarty It's at the very beginning - the little window in the lower left corner asks for your email and then gives you the code to enter on your order page. Okay. I found the window. It was way down there on my browser but would only take the first line from above (17 characters - no matter what's in my clipboard). So I went to Edge and the same thing. I'm beginning to think it's not me.
@caseymccarty That big, long URL is just for you to click to get to the order page. The little window in the lower left is for you to enter your email address. It will then give you a code to copy that is rather short. THAT's what you copy into the promo code slot, not the big URL.
Oops. It was me and still is. I have an order waiting in the shopping cart. When I click your link it takes me to a "Reserve Now" which doesn't recognize my already full shopping cart. And I can't get it to empty so I can do your referred order.
Okay. I got my cart emptied. A couple of times. Whilst in Edge I click your link and it takes me to what looks like the home page to Aptera. There are "Reserve Now" opportunities all over the place. But no hints about helping you? Does this page know it's Kerbe #12705? Shall I just click on the car and go for it? Does the code window show up later? What am I missing?
@caseymccarty #1 - are you using a computer or are you trying to do this on your phone? #2 - use a computer! Ok, the link I gave you takes you to what looks like the home page - but it "knows" you're there to get a referral. The little window that should appear in the lower left corner of the screen asks you for your email address. When you enter your email address, it will give you my referral number. At that point you copy the number. Then place your order, right up until the place where you pay for it: You'll see a line marked (I think) "Promo Code" - THAT'S where you place the number you copied from the little window. Once you enter it there, your total should drop from $100 to $70 and you can go-ahead with completing the purchase.
ALSO - it only works if you're logged-out of your account! So, using any other browser than Chrome, it should work!
I'm on a PC using Edge. I click your above link and it takes me to the new page that has "Reserve Now" on each of the opportunities but no stinking window or box requesting my email. I go in one level by tapping the reserve button at the top of the page. Still no window or box.
@caseymccarty Ok - you have to log out of your account - that's the problem! Log out, close the browser, reopen the browser, enter the long URL and then, when the page opens, you'll see the reward window open in the lower left corner of the screen!
@caseymccarty I just did it on my computer using Edge so I know it works! You log out by clicking the "down arrow" that's between the green "reserve now" button and the green shopping bag icon at the top of this page. It gives you a drop-down menu - select "log out"
Hold onto your boot straps. "You cannot be referred because you already have an account." After three tries I got into the email window successfully and then got this reply. Pretty interesting huh? There's like a 4 second window to get your email in the box before it disappears.
@caseymccarty Ok - last resort - email Sarah - sarah@aptera.us - and tell you want to use my referral code (she knows me) but the system won't let you. I think she can make it work manually from her end...
