Apparently, we've reached our limit on the free ZeeMaps features which is 100 views. The lowest-tier paid plan is $200 per year and I'm not going to swing that alone. Sorry for starting this without doing my homework first. I'm pretty sure Google Maps has a way of creating custom maps. I'll look into it to make sure we don't run into a similar issue. Other solutions are welcome.
If you select your marker, it should pop up a menu. One of the icon options I get at the bottom is "style" which looks like a tipping paint can. If you click on that, you should get a selection of icons. I created a custom one by uploading a screen shot clip of the Aptera icon.
How do you drop a pin? Do you have to sign in? When I looked at that, it wanted me to use my email address. I don't like putting things like that out in public view.
Here are a few slides on how to create and edit the marker (Google Slides link). https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1LA0I_k8M927lpX5VLiuGhHkWtboSLdbH-6zfDBwsuAo/edit?usp=sharing
Sorry you're not having any luck with this. It might be a Google thing? I can add you if you give me a town and the name or initials you would like it listed under, if any. You can also keep it anonymous.
Thank you to Karl Bloss for giving us this idea and creating it for us to use it good for all the world locations
Mine is reserved San Antonio Texas
🤠
Added. Hoping to be the first owner in Pittsburgh!
Also, folks should note that your entire address is visible to the wide open internet if you enter it.
Yes, this is an important point. Please limit the amount of personal information like your actual home address. I put my city only.
Memphis, TN Added!!
I thought San Diego would have the most entries, but no! None, yet. I'm closest (so far) in Riverside County.
Lewis Run Pennsylvania
Bruce seems closest. Have you driven by their facility yet? I don't know their address, so I haven't pinned them down yet.
The address used in SEC filings is a house in San Diego. I'm ready, willing & able to drive by their Carlsbad facility after I know the address.

@Karl Bloss Here's a link: https://www.google.com/maps/about/mymaps/
I gave it a whirl with Google Maps. The TinyURL link: https://tinyurl.com/y9da3ckl
For those who want the original Google Maps link: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=18yleMTWyYKBxJl1B1Cd0G3gvKAnpHcvV&usp=sharing
Not as intuitive, but I've added myself to the Google map.
Should we standardize the marker we use? I used the same one as Karl.

I forgot a step in between...paint can, then "More Icons" then you'll get a prompt to upload a file if you choose "Custom."
Thanks, Karl. I figured it out and edited my post while you were responding, but these instructions will help others, too. 😀
If this catches on, I might get an easy to remember domain like apteraowners.info and forward it to the map.
Hi from La Coruña Spain.
Updated!

@dtmattijetz Click this icon then put your cursor over your location and click. Then you can edit the marker by clicking on it to reveal options.
@Kerbe #12705 This screenshot looks completely different than what shows on my browsers (Firefox and Safari). You using Chrome and/or signed in?
@PV1 Chrome - Google Map, Google browser...

I'm not sure how well that link worked, but here are the instructions in PDF.
Well thanks for the info, but I still couldn't find an add button.

@Karl Bloss Karl, that sounds great. Add Danny in Glendora, California. It can go anywhere in Glendora or near the freeway intersection.
@dtmattijetz Added!
