It would be nice if the Aptera’s solar powered battery bank can be used as battery backup for RV power and/or house. I’m hoping to tow my Aptera with our RV. This would be so useful when boondocking the RV or during power outages.

They said it has V2G possibilities but no details and their priority is to launch production as soon as possible after testing
My take home at least
Also would be good too the Aptera if fully charged ( or at least using 50% of the battery depend in your battery option) to use that extra solar energy for stuff like you mention. going camping/ or other , need extra energy, its all good I got my Aptera with a 100 KWh battery full plus the solar energy. lol
Because if fully charged you can maybe use that extra solar energy in something very useful,( not like some fake ads powering a house from the car if you know you know)
In case I'm not the only one dealing with too many 3-letter abbreviations,
V2G = Vehicle To Grid
Also: V2H = Vehicle To Home V2V = Vehicle To Vehicle
V2L = Vehicle To Load (all of the above)
V2X = Vehicle To ____ (all of the above)
Thanks for the TLAs, three letter acronyms...
From Aptera FAQ Spreadsheet line 4:
"Will Aptera ever offer an optional 380Vdc to 120Vac, 60Hz, utility inverter rated at a few kW and if so, when?"
"Yes, likely not more than 1.5kW though."
That's a 1500W 120V A.C. outlet, enough for even a full-sized microwave or vacuum cleaner, or even to charge another EV! (V2V)
