The Aptera Forum
Camera view will definitely be better than an actual mirror. My Chevy Bolt EV has the option to use the rear view camera on the inside rear view mirror. It provides a much better, unobstructed rear view and I use it all the time.
@boxster1971 I've heard some Bolt drivers complain about eyestrain from switching between side mirrors and video rear view screen: Something to do with "focal length", I believe. This won't be an issue with Aptera as EVERYTHING will be a video screen! Personally, I haven't had any issues with it when I've driven a Bolt: I rather prefer it to "looking through" the rear of the vehicle!
Yes, but the rearview "mirror" at the top of the windshield is actually a screen connected to a camera with a clear view.
Thanks, I guess having the extra solar capacity is more important, for me anyway...
Anyone know if there will be washers for the cameras like the Bolt has?
