Any update you can give on testing of Aptera Vehicles? I know that you completed the move into your new facility and were targeting having 3 or 4? Prototype vehicles built by the end of March. Any update on that progress?
What kind of testing is planned? How about test laps? How about some real world non-destructive track driving? Maybe some distance driving on different road conditions. Snow Driving, Mountains, Highway. Efficiency/Range calculations at different speeds (70 mph vs the much lower "EPA" ratings).
Of course Safety and Crash testing (although I would honestly prefer to see some functional driving/ test results before crashing the new vehicles)
Any list of tests that you can share even if you haven't completed them yet?
Thanks
Hey Charles...I too would like to see the same thing. I would like to see what the lateral g-forces are achievable before tipping occurs. This could occur in non-braking accelerating situations coming out of a turn. I am wondering if the understeer characteristics would be corrected with the torque vectoring? I am interested in seeing how the car handles on irregular surfaces such as cobblestone and whether traction is hampered. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
