With hub motors, I would hope you could turn the car on a dime. So pulling up to a parking spot that you would normally back into or pull into could be done by rotating the car 90 degrees and then back / pull into the parking spot.

That is not my understanding
Yes torque vectoring helps with turning but the wheels do not turn 90 degrees
If the right front turns clockwise and the left front turns counter clockwise...the car would basically spin. So the ability to spin only 90 degrees would allow you to back into the parking spot.
They promise pictures or illustration at some point
They did say you can do donuts
They did say the Aptera would be able to do tank turns using the hub motors which is essentially turning in place
The Aptera has the turning radius of a Honda Civic without using “tank turn“. If you can’t park it, turn in your license!
Given how wide the front wheels are, for some people it will be difficult / impossble to park.
Given the excessive width, I would really need to have my vehicle pull itself into and out of my garage. Only 50mm per side clearance through the garage door!
