Locations and hole-pattern for pedestrian-warning speaker, and horn?
What will the locations and hole-pattern be to emit the sound of the pedestrian warning system, and the main horn? Sleek, sealed nose needs a way to emit necessary warning sounds.
How about down-firing from any of the wheel wells. The speaker/emitter will of course be water-proof. A low frequency will transmit better and not get absorbed in the composite. Think low woofer sounds coming from teenagers customized sound systems with sub-woofers. That is why sub-woofers can be placed anywhere in the passenger cabin and tweeters need to be placed direct to ear.
ive had toy horns that work by just squeezing air with a air pouch through a wind tunnel, a bit larger and it would be as loud as a car horn. should be cheaper lighter and no electrical energy needed, just a air tube, and the air tunnel could be better integrated as small openings in small spaces in weird shapes, with outlet shooting sound to bounce it off the ground. the spaces can be that flat back of the suspension, or in this space:(the blue is the wheel, the red is outlining space for horn which bounces sound off of wheel)
another approach:
the red is some space where there is space for a horn sitting with windhiled wiper under wind flow, the sound would shoot upward and toward the front.
another approach is a wing at front that is a sound tunnel to direct sound more effectively, if other approaches arnt good enough sound
Great!
Never had an EV and had to wonder about that but ...now I am wondering if the sealed waterproof audio technology in my truck composite bed could work?
Basically a exciter is behind the composite panels when the music/ sound plays the exciter uses the composite panel like a speakers fabric
Great sound!

@Len I wonder if it would have be effective in outputting the higher frequency of a car horn at adequate volume
@Daniel Watkins Does it have to sound like loud horn
There were video chats about some cool sounds ...
... but not sure if the minimum decible requirements on this matter
ai can Bluetooth the Jetson on my truck panels but notbthe sane composite animal
I think it will go next to the front suspension

Could we choose our own sounds? Given the shape of the car I think friendly dolphin sounds? And for backing up the jaws theme?
That would be nice... Changeable too, like ringtones
Afterall should all Apterae sound the same?
Excuse me, Pardon me...😉
