So, I am staying in South Africa, so I would love to see this vehicle emigrating to our Country... Some ideas that I would like to see however incorporate into the vehicle 1) Incorporate the use of mass-less battery technology into the vehicle structure SEE: https://www.azom.com/news.aspx?newsID=55811 . You already have a near drag less design, incorporate these batteries into structure can allow an additional seat which a lot of your customers are waiting for keep the batteries and increase distance, the possibilities are endless... Maybe important to note that these batteries also have a lifetime, so to make them replaceable would be good, not that you probable would not have thought about this... 2) Addition of "Modular design" into the Aptera design. Thinking in the lines of: 2.1) "clip on 3 wheel drive" to increase speed... where a person says buys the 2 wheel option but then at a later stage just buys the 3rd powered wheel when the have funds available... Even maybe selling a base model with 1 powered wheel... so that the buyer can decide whether the need 2 wheel power or 3 wheel.. does this makes sense? 2.2) "clip on trailer" that either increases luggage capacity or the addition of 2 - 4 seats for people traveling as a family. The trailer again can have mass-less battery tech depending feasibility or have space for normal battery tech as already in the Aptera to keep costs down.. also have solar panels for additional charging.. I was even think of linking two Aptera back to front when going on a holiday, then you can de-link them when you reach your destination for access to 2 vehicles at the holiday destination. So with the modular design you can have lets say 2 Apteres' back to front and then a trailer at the back for extra storage of bags. Look trailer will obviously influence the drag co-efficient but you will also have additional space for batteries... Look at the end of the day law of averages will dictate that 80% (just an assumption) of the time you don't need more than 2 or even 1 people/person in the car when you driving, due to the father or mother going to work and back.. but when you doing a family trip to the mall or a holiday you would need that extra space, and making it modular increases the efficiency for that 80% of travel time... 2.3) "Clip on dashboards" Because i feel you have nailed the base of the car (0.13 drag co-efficient) I don't know when you will be to improve this number of if it will be necessary, you can rather modular the rest of the car as described in point 2.1 and 2.2 and now 2.3... Keep the base, keep on developing the modules as things become more efficient people can swap out their old stock sell them second hand if they are still in good working order and get the new and improved dash that uses less energy etc.... Or have "BOSE" come on and design a dash with a complete surround sound experience in the dash or something along those lines.... 2.4) "Clip on/off batteries" This is for the person that does maybe travel more than 60km a day (uber driver) what you do is you charge your extra battery for the vehicle on a stationary solar system (a lot of homes going over to solar) so that after your day of driving you have a battery at home that is fully charged for the next day? 3) Have your clip on technology stay the same so that old technology can work with the new, so that an owner that bought his Aptera now can also enjoy any future modular clip-on in the future. 4) Have your standby Aptera powering the house and integrated into you house solar system. Like I said in point 2.2 with clip on trailers or back to front Apteras'. You won't necessarily drive the trailer or second aptera all the time.. have it power the house with you solar system... your installed battery for the house will be there, but if the car is not there who will anyway be home to use electricity? While your Aptera is standing doing nothing at home it might as well help out running the A/C at night for instance... increasing versatility and just giving the buyer another reason to buy the Aptera. 5) If possible to make point 4 even more intriguing would be to make the energy wireless so that the owner only parks at the designated area and thus not even necassary to plug in the Aptera when you get home to use the Aptera battery bank... Leave the choice up to the buyer how he want to set-up the Aptera, every Aptera will look the same from the outside, but what every customer will have on the inside will custom and unique to every owner. Increasing the versitilty of the vehicle by not changing to much, but adding as the company grows. You already have a world winning body almost zero drag co-efficient, just improve future expansions. What do you guys think?
