    Monocrystalline cells are, literally, one thin wafer – and they’re black and they can’t be bent: If they crack, they stop working. Polycrystalline cells are made of multiple thin wafers and can be blue or black and they can’t be bent: If they crack, they stop working. Only thin film cells are always blue and can be bent and, if they crack, they continue to function.
